Prayer for Serenity

The Serenity Prayer is the mindset to have in love.

When the pandemic started, I felt as if I had no control. My life seemed to be heading in a rapid downward spiral. Every time something negative happened to me, I repeatedly questioned "Why me?" and "Why now?"

I still do not have the answers to every question and reason for each catastrophic event. Nevertheless, I learned so many useful things about myself and life. As I repeated The Serenity prayer, my heart was opened and my fears were calmed.

Hence, I want to share one of my favorite prayers that got me through the toughest times in my life.

The Serenity Prayer

"grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change,

courage to change the things I can,

and wisdom to know the difference."
